Here is a blog that I have been following that I think you would find interesting http://guynameddave.typepad.com/david_michael_bruno/ Also, I received a magazine from Oxfam yesterday asking people to fast for one meal the week before Thanksgiving and donating the cost of the meal toward combating hunger. Not a huge sacrifice but if everyone participated, it could make a difference - www.oxfamamerica.org/fast
