Crochet 101

Have you been wanting to learn to crochet?  Would you like to know how to make warm and soft things?  Have you been wondering how you can be more like the Woobie?  Here's your chance!

There is still a lot of winter left here in central Ohio, and one of the best winter time hobbies is crocheting.

In February I will be teaching the first of a series of classes about crocheting, Crochet 101 at Wholly Craft in Clintonville.  This class is for beginners who have never crocheted before.  I will be covering the basic concepts you need to know to get started, such as yarn weight and hook size, as well as several stitches.  By the end you will be able to read a simple pattern and complete a project of you own.

Crochet 101 is a two session class, the dates are Wednesday February 9th and 16th from 6-8pm.  The project for this class will be a simple scarf to keep you warm.

You can visit the Wholly Craft website for more information and to sign up for the class: www.whollycraft.com

If you already know how to crochet and are looking to improve your craft I will be teaching some more advanced classes in March.

I look forward to seeing you in class!
