I might be dumb

There is quite a list of blogs that I read weekly if not daily. And I would LOVE to be one of those people who wrote all the time and had a faithful readership. It probably won't happen, at least until I'm done with my degree, but it doesn't mean that more people shouldn't read my blog. The only problem is that I don't understand how to do that? Any suggestions?

How to do what, attract more people to your blog? Well, one idea is to comment on other blogs and leave your blog link in your signature. You can do this as well in discussion forums. You might also want to register your blog on Technorati, StumbleUpon, and other social bookmarking sites. You can even automatically cross-post your blog posts to your Facebook account. You can also participate in networking events, such as Blog Day and Blog Action Day (which you turned me on to.) That should be enough to get you started. I agree that the great thing about blogging is the online conversation and dialogue, more than just sharing your own thoughts.

Thanks David! I still don't understand Technorati, but I'll try to look into it.
